Keyword Ability List Empty Keyword Ability List

OK, here is the current list of all the keyword abilities that are currently be considered for Project Deity and their current wordings. This will constantly be updated as we reword the abilities, add new abilities, or do major overhauls to the keyword abilities.

The abilities will fall under two different categories.
- Unique: These are abilities that are unique to certain factions.
- Standard: These are keyword abilities that can be found on any Daemon/Pretender in Project Deity regardless of faction

The Template for the abilities will be

Unique Abilities

Arcadia

Avarice X
None
As long as your Faith pool is at X or higher, this Daemon gains {effect}.

Notes: The effects for this ability will typically be increases in either Attack/Vitality or movement. Other effects are possible but not as common. This ability is on all Arcadia Daemons.

This Daemon progresses to their next tier.

Notes: The abilities and changes in stats is noted on each tier of the Daemon. The cost might change from tier to tier.

Cloister

This Daemon regenerates X Vitality. This ability can only be used during your turn.

Notes: This is ability is on all Cloister Daemons.

Conviction

This Daemon ignores harmful tile effects.

Elysium

Pride

This Daemon gains {effect} for being the Daemon you control on this tile.

Notes: This effects is usually a bonus to Attack/Vitality or an extra keyword ability. Other effects exist but are not as common. All Elysium Daemons have this ability. The effect will be denoted on cards like (Pride: {effect}).

Glory X
Pay X
Target a Daemon you control on an adjacent tile to this Daemon and swap their positions.

Notes: The range on this ability might be different on stronger Daemons or because of a Mandate.

Labyrinth

Ward Guard
none
This Daemon is treated as having 1 less Blessing and Hex slots for the purposes of being Warded by opponents.

Notes: All Labyrinth Daemons have this as an ability. This ability does not actually reduce Blessing/Hex Slots.

Stalker
none
This Daemon is cloaked (cannot be seen by opponents) while on Labyrinth tiles.

Notes: Stronger Daemons, Mandates, or Pretenders might change what tiles this effect will be on.

Perdition

Consume X
Fade this Daemon
Consume a Daemon with equal or less Essence than this Daemon that is on the same tile, it is counted as slain (return to the bottom of the deck). This Daemon gains X Essence. This is usable only during your turn.

Notes: This may target a Daemon from any player, as long as they are on the same tile. This ability is on all Perdition Daemons.

Essential
none
This Daemon has no Vitality, this does not cause the Daemon to be considered slain. Damage from each source is prevented and then 1 Essence counter is removed from this Daemon.

Sanctum

This Daemon gains {effect} if you control another Daemon in an adjacent tile.

Notes: The effect is usually a bonus to Attack/Vitality but other effects are also possible. Every Daemon from Sanctum has this ability.

Glimpse

This Daemon gains {effect} if it is upon a Paradise Tile.

Notes: The effects vary wildly. This effect is not effects by the doubling of Paradise Tile because it is already taken into account into the effect.

Asylum

Cipher

The Daemons transitions through each phase noted on the card.

Notes: This not really a keyword ability but affects all Asylum Daemons, and a some of the Manifestations/Wards/Mandates. The card does not necessarily need to stay in the same type through all of the phases. Each phase will either happen in turn order or until there is a certain trigger event.

Contract X (type 1)

If this Daemon's Contract price was not paid, the Daemon loses 1 Essence counter.

This Daemon does not deal damage to vitality, but does damage equal to it's attack score to the opposing Daemon's Essence score.

Just a clarification, I think that Consume should be based on having higher power than Essence so the Keyword can work easier, AND makes for harder eating decisions. Otherwise looks swell!
